Your help is needed
With over 68.5 million people worldwide forced to flee their homes, making migration safer and dignified for everyone has become a global priority. IOM, the International Organization for Migration, provides life-saving humanitarian support to people displaced by natural disasters and conflicts, as well as assistance to survivors of trafficking around the globe.
Established in 1951, IOM has offices in over 100 countries to promote international cooperation on migration and to assist in the search for practical solutions for emerging challenges around migration. Our work also provides humanitarian assistance directly to migrants in need, including refugees and internally displaced people.

In the United Kingdom, IOM’s work encompasses:

  • refugee resettlement,
  • integration,
  • combatting human trafficking and modern slavery,
  • diaspora and development,
  • migrant assistance,
  • supporting migrant children, and
  • policy and research on migration.

The British people are renowned for their generosity to vulnerable people. Your donation will help IOM save lives by provide lifesaving assistance wherever and whenever it’s needed the most.

Why should you give to IOM?
We have been supporting migrants for over 65 years. Migrants across the globe are in desperate need for assistance to help rebuild their lives. We are on the ground, resettling refugees, providing psycho-support and care, and integrating refugees and migrants into their new homes. The need increases at a higher rate than our resources and we need your generosity to help as many desperate migrants and refugees as possible.

Your giving is significant and will help to change the world of those most in need, today. For UK Taxpayers: in order that every penny you give gets to us and to add 25% Gift Aid at no extra cost to you, we use the BT MyDonate donation form.

"Migration is one of the key realities of our time. It cuts across communities, influences priorities, and shapes societies.
To realise the benefits of migration for migrants and host communities alike, our responses must be innovative, collaborative and designed beyond the immediate."
