IOM UK welcomes new Chief of Mission
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) in the United Kingdom is pleased to announce the arrival of its newly appointed Chief of Mission Christa Rottensteiner. With over 20 years of experience in humanitarian response, development and migration management, in the last three years she provided strategic guidance for IOM’s work in Yemen. During her 14 years at the UK Department for International Development (now Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office), she established a track record in improving large-scale programming in contexts like Afghanistan and Pakistan. Prior, Christa held positions in the British Red Cross and the International Committee of the Red Cross.
